Atlancific represents manufacturers/ suppliers in the distribution of their goods and services internationally, especially in Africa and North America, by adopting different modes that are mutually relevant to the relationship between us and our manufacturer client.
One of the non-equity foreign market entry modes, in international trade, is the direct export of goods and services of a holding company, by capitalizing on economies of scale in production concentrated domestically, and by avoiding intermediaries.
However, passive or indirect export management requires the services of intermediaries, such as manufacturer’s representatives or independent sales representatives, who may choose to manifest as import distributors or export trading companies, export management companies, export merchants or confirming houses.

Different Layers of Operations
International Manufacturer’s Representatives, also known as Independent Sales Representatives, acts as an agency that sells a manufacturer’s product in a defined territory, following a contractual agreement.
They represent foreign manufacturers /suppliers in their local markets, for an established commission. As importing distributors, they may choose to purchase a product in their own right and resell it in their local markets to other merchants.
In addition, as export trading companies, they provide support services for one or more suppliers, by locating oversea partners, present the product, and quote on specific enquiries, including trading on behalf of the manufacturer/ suppliers, as an export management company, for their supplies, as their accredited export department, among others.
Furthermore, as export merchant, they may buy unpackaged products from manufacturers / suppliers for resale overseas under their own brand names. Finally as a confirming house, they receive the product requirement of their clients, negotiate purchases, make delivery, and pay the suppliers/manufacturers.
Atlancific is positioned to incorporate all these classes of trading in its international trading operations. We consistently look out for partnership with manufacturers of exceptional products that wish to take advantage of this kind of trade relations. This could be manufacturers/ suppliers of general goods, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, automobiles and parts, machinery, building and construction materials, computer and electronic products, communication products and recycled clothing, among others.
So, whether it is a manufacturer that wishes a fast market access or the outsourcing of its export management operation, including partnership with an export trading / Management Company that is functional in a preferred market, Atlancific is that partner of choice.
We encourage manufacturers to contact the Manufacturer’s representative desk of Atlancific, for more information on this service.
